Description
Morphology
"The last side-spine in nearly all the specimens is considerably more than three times the length of any of the others, which is the proportion given by Alcock, but it varies in length a good deal (Borradaile, 1902; pg. 208)."

"Taken in Mulaku, Haddumati, Felidu, South Nilandu, and Suvadiva in 28-40 fathoms on sandy or muddy bottoms (Borradaile, 1902; pg. 208)."
